Welcome to our site. Our family has struggled for years with many digetive problems. We did not set out to learn all this information, but had to because our bodies for some reasons could not digest and eliminate food very well. You'll find information and products that will help you weather it is occasional pain or on going issues. 

Our whole family has food sensitivities, including irritable bowel syndrome, Celiac disease (no gluten), soy allergies, lactose intolerance and struggles with unique digetive issues.

The four products we 'live on' are featured on this site. None us take all four but we each take a combination of them.
All of the products deal with two things: digestion and elimination.

Here's an explanation of digestion and elimination:

DIGESTION is not a simple process but can be simply stated as the process of breaking down the food you put into your mouth.

The teeth grind it and the saliva begins to break it down. From the mouth it travels to the stomach where it is ground down even further and more chemicals are added to the mix.

Once it is broken down it is then sent into the small intestine where the nutients and fluids are absorbed into the body. From the there all the unused matter is moved into the large intestine where more some more absortion occurs. Each step along the way is very important. For example, if your teeth don't grind the food very well, you overtax the stomach and slow down the process.

All along the way there are important roles being played out. Our bodies are not perfect and they get out of balance. Some times it is for a season some times it is for a life time. The great news is there are products to help all along the way!!

ELIMINATION: This process is dependent on what has occurred up to the point when the food goes into the large intestine. What did you eat? How well did you break it down? Are you allergic to it?

There are many factors that can hinder elimination. Stress can mess up the whole train as well as time of the day, combination of foods, amount of water consumed, altitude...like I said...it is complicated!

Water and fiber are your best friends at this point in the gut. They work like a scrub brush and soap on dirty dishes. Not every one drinks enough water or gets enough fiber. Not everyone has digested their food well enough so that the large intestine can get all the 'leftovers out of the door'.

Just like left overs that are left out in a warm dark place it gets bad. The sad thing is the the 'bad' is sitting inside your body and it is being absorbed into YOU...yuck. No wonder we break out, have body aches, thin hair, bad breath and poochie bellies...some one has not been taking out the trash consistantly!
